Description
Press for selection of gluten PKM-12.
Designed to remove excess solution for washing in accordance with GOST R 53020-2008 (ISO 21415-1:2006). The PKM-12 press is used in the manual method for determining the content of raw gluten in wheat and wheat flour and is recommended for these products supplied for export.
According to this GOST, the condition for using the press in the extraction of gluten is mandatory. The use of the PKM-12 press makes it possible to eliminate subjective factors affecting the analysis result and obtain more reproducible results with less manual labor.
The press consists of two glass plates with a rough surface, ensuring a stable fixed gap between the plates. It has stands and a handle for opening.
