Description
Number in the state register: 20174-11
The small-sized portable microohmmeter IKS-5 is designed for rapid measurement of low electrical resistance to direct current, primarily the transient resistance of high-voltage circuit breakers and disconnectors. The device also allows you to measure the electrical resistance of low-inductance circuits of other machines and devices in the range from 1 to 10,000 µOhm.
The microohmmeter is made on a modern element base, has a microcomputer and an integrating high-resolution analog-to-digital converter, which ensures effective suppression of industrial frequency interference (tested 5 meters from a 500 kV line), is easy to operate and requires almost no maintenance. The instrument is housed in a rugged, welded aluminum alloy housing and is resistant to shock and rough handling.
The device is intended for use in energy enterprises, electrical networks, power plants and substations, as well as in traction substations of electrified vehicles.
Available in two versions: standard version (with plastic connectors) and northern version (with metal connectors).
Category: Instruments for measuring low resistances
Functions:
- Measurement of low electrical resistance to direct current, primarily the transient resistance of high-voltage switches and disconnectors, as well as low-inductance circuits of other machines and devices in the range from 1 to 10,000 µOhm.
Distinctive features:
- The smallest weight (0.9 kg) and dimensions (145x102x55 mm) among industrial microohmmeters
- High accuracy (in the range of 1…1000 μΩ, the absolute main error does not actually exceed 1 μΩ)
- Silicone insulated test leads – do not lose flexibility at temperatures down to -50 ° C
- Battery powered no mains connection or grounding required.
- Noise immunity: tested 5 meters from 500 kV line
- Calibration interval 2 years
- Available in two versions: standard and northern version
Modification of microohmmeter of northern version IKS-5s is supplied with RS7TV connectors instead of conventional plastic connectors.
