The Mikmed 2.0 USB microscope consists of an illumination system, an optical system and a CMOS sensor. It has a wide range of magnification from 20x to 200x. It connects to a computer via a USB port and does not require additional power. Equipped with a chromed metal bracket. The design of the bracket allows you to explore objects from any angle. The software allows you to take a photo at any time of observation, record a video clip and even measure the dimensions of the object under study (with an accuracy of 0.01 mm). Measurements are made programmatically without using a calibration slide. The program only needs to enter the magnification of the microscope on which the picture was taken.
The images are displayed on the PC screen and can be saved and edited using the software. Thanks to this, MICMED 2.0 will be widely used in schools and universities, medical institutions, enterprises, for personal use and to familiarize children with the surrounding microcosm.
The size of the field of view (the part of the object under examination visible in the microscope) depends on the magnification, which is adjusted by changing the distance from the objective to the object under study. Focusing is carried out using the focusing ring on the body. The field of view at the minimum working distance is 2.3×1.7 mm, at a distance of 55 mm – 25×20 mm, at a distance of 150 mm – 52×39 mm, the size of the field of view at intermediate distances will be different.
