Description

Apparatus for short-wave therapy (diathermy) and inductothermy Thermopulse (2 sensors)

The device for short-wave therapy (diathermy) Thermopulse is designed for therapeutic effects based on the use of electromagnetic energy for deep heating of the patient’s body. This is evidenced by the very term “diathermy”, derived from the Latin. the verb “warm up”.

We list the main medicinal properties of diathermy: acceleration of tissue regeneration; slowing down inflammatory processes; antispastic effect (suppression of spasms of muscles, internal organs); reducing swelling and dilating blood vessels (which can have a positive effect on the general condition of the body), and so on.

Thermopulse can be used not only for non-contact, but also for contact treatment, which makes it a universal short-wave therapy device. It combines the possibility of using HF diathermy and inductothermy. The device can operate both in continuous and pulse mode. It can be used in cosmetology, as well as otolaryngology. It is more versatile than the Thermopulse Compact.

Short-wave diathermy has important advantages over ultra-high-frequency (UHF) therapy traditional in Russian practice. First of all, they are related to patient safety: the use of UHF devices often led to the appearance of superficial burns in patients, blood hypercoagulation (increased blood clotting – a phenomenon that can lead to thrombosis!), As well as irreversible damage to proteins. Diathermy is an order of magnitude safer method in this respect.

Shortwave therapy is an extremely effective therapeutic method that allows you to influence not only problems associated with superficially located organs, but also diseases that have settled deep in the body (such as bronchitis).

The device is intended for use by qualified specialists in the physiotherapy departments of medical institutions.
