Reading microscope MPB-2 is designed to measure the diameter of an imprint (hole) formed on the surface of various metals when determining hardness by the Brinell method. The principle of operation of the microscope is based on comparing the imprint image obtained by pressing a ball into the material under study under a certain load with a grid scale.
