Designed to detect subclinical conditions of udder inflammation in the early asymptomatic phase. The device helps to keep the herd in perfect condition and produce higher quality milk. Does not require any additional chemical reagents for the test.
The detector works on the principle of electrical resistance measurement. The milk from a quarter affected by subclinical inflammation is characterized by an increased salt content, which results in a decrease in its resistance. Thanks to this, it is possible to quickly, before milking, distinguish diseased and healthy quarters of the udder, and separate milk of poor quality from good. The method of using the device is very simple – fill the measuring cup with the first jets of milk from the quarter to be examined. Then press the switch and read the result. The illuminated indicator allows you to work with devices in low light in barns.
