Purpose
| The Wile 55 moisture meter is designed for express moisture measurement of cereals, legumes and oilseeds, as well as their processed products. The Wile 55 moisture meter is used in the field, when harvesting, storing and processing grain, during post-harvest processing and drying of grain, at currents, when placing grain in storage facilities, as well as at enterprises where an express analysis of grain moisture is required. |

| The Wile 55 moisture meter is a microprocessor-based electronic device that provides a direct output of the percentage of moisture in the measured mass on an electronic digital display in percent weight. The measurement process is based on measuring the capacitance of the measured material.
Structurally, the moisture meter is made in the form of a portable monoblock with a built-in sensor. The sensor is a measuring cylinder with a screw cap. The front panel contains an electronic digital display, a device power button and a command selection button.
Measuring with the Wile 55 is easy. After choosing the type of grain, you only need to press the button. The large digital display makes it easy to read even in low light conditions.

Important recommendations
| The scales of the moisture meter are designed according to the standard quality of the crops. The features of the measured grain can vary significantly depending on the growing conditions of the grain and the availability of new varieties. For this reason, before the start of the new season, we recommend checking that the moisture meter readings match those of the drying cabinet at the grain elevator.
It is recommended to measure at least five samples and use the average value of the measurements of these five samples as the result of measuring the moisture content of the whole mass. If the moisture meter readings differ from the drying cabinet readings, correct the measurement scale. This point is especially important to consider when measuring the moisture content of a large mass of grain and if you suspect that the quality of the grain is different from the usual. |
