Description

Type S thermocouples (platinum – 10% rhodium/platinum)

  • are applied to measurement of high temperatures – to 1300 °C;
  • possible short-term use at temperatures up to 1600 °C;
  • possible use in an oxidizing atmosphere;
  • high strength and hardness of the corundum case;
  • high thermal conductivity of the corundum cover (comparable to the thermal conductivity of steel 12X18H10T);
  • wear resistance, incl. at high temperatures;
  • high corrosion resistance, incl. at high temperatures.
