Description
Number in the state register: 78272-20
One of the most important parameters characterizing the quality of carbon products (graphite electrodes for electric furnaces, coal blocks for electrolyzers, etc.) is electrical resistivity (SER). The resistivity value should be controlled both at intermediate technological operations and at the end of the production cycle to determine the brand of the product.
The IUS-4 meter is designed to quickly determine the resistivity of carbon-graphite products, including graphite electrodes and workpieces by one operator. The device allows measurements with end current input in accordance with section 1 of GOST 23776-79. The device is intended for use at enterprises of the electrode industry, as well as non-ferrous and ferrous metallurgy.
To determine the resistivity of nipples The IUS-4 meter can optionally be equipped with two pairs of sensors that are connected to the probes of the device with flexible wires. Measurement of the resistivity of nipples is carried out in accordance with section 4 of GOST 23776-79 and clause 9.2 of GOST R 57613-2017.
To measure the resistivity of graphite electrodes as part of a measuring stand, a stationary version IUS-4s can be used . Here, a larger measuring current is used, thereby achieving greater measurement accuracy. This instrument is equipped with an RS-232 interface for communication with a computer. Power supply of IUS-4s from mains 220 V, 50 Hz.
Functions:
- Designed for on-line measurement of the resistivity of carbon-graphite products of cylindrical shape
Distinctive features:
- Provides the ability to make a measurement consisting of both a single observation and a series
- Two versions of the device modification: IUS-4p and IUS-4s. Bench version of IUS-4s as part of a measuring bench with a large measuring current and higher measurement accuracy
- Calibration interval 2 years
