Description

Analyzer of somatic cells in milk Somatos-V-1K-15

Somatos-V (by weight) is a line of analyzers of somatic cells in milk, which replaced Somatos-M. According to the principle of operation, the devices correspond to the methodology set forth in GOST 23453-90. The main distinguishing advantage of this model range is that instead of an IR optocoupler (infrared sensor), high-precision electronic scales are used in the analyzers to determine the outflow time.
The strain-electric weighing device allows the device to determine the uniformity of the outflow of the sample and take into account the outflow time of only parts of the same weight. This is an important point, since when mixing the Mastoprim solution with milk, clots, foam can appear, and mechanical contaminants can also get into the finished mixture, which significantly affects the uniformity of the liquid and the continuity of the outflow through the capillary. Thus, the method of measuring the leakage time, implemented in the analyzers of the Somatos-V model range, can significantly reduce the influence of gross errors and random errors. As a result, the error in determining the number of somatic cells in milk is reduced by half compared to Somatos-M.
When calibrating the analyzer, there is no need to tint the water with ink, as is required for devices with an infrared optocoupler. Also, the advantage is the possibility of using the electronic scales of the device for preparing a solution of the drug “Mastoprim” and other needs of the laboratory.
The model range of analyzers “Somatos-V” consists of three versions:
– “Somatos-V-1K” – single-channel (up to 40 measurements per hour);
– “Somatos-V-2K” – two-channel (up to 80 measurements per hour);
– “Somatos-V-4K” – four-channel (up to 150 measurements per hour).
