Description
Purpose of the biological safety cabinet class I (code 112.120 ex. 110.120):
Class I biosafety cabinet
- designed to protect the operator and the environment from the release of dispersed contaminated particles when working with dangerous and potentially dangerous pathogenic agents and microorganisms;
- containment of equipment and/or procedures that may generate aerosols;
- does not protect the product in the working chamber from external contamination.
Application of biological safety cabinet class I:
Working with pathogenic agents that are dangerous or potentially dangerous to human health.
Isolation of equipment and/or procedures that may generate aerosols.
Registration certificate of Roszdravnadzor No. FSR 2010/07112 dated March 18, 2010
Standard version of the biological safety cabinet class I (code 112.120 ex. 110.120):
Working chamber
front glass – hinged, material – tempered glass, the mechanism for opening, closing and holding the glass in the open position is equipped with gas shock absorbers;
damper to prevent shock when closing the front glass
Tempered side windows
Inclined front surface of the box;
lighting of the working chamber;
One block of sockets in the working chamber of the box;
- Stainless steel worktop.
UV block :
- installed on the back wall of the working chamber of the box from above.
Exhaust air cleaning system :
- the cleaning of the air removed from the working chamber occurs through successively installed filters – G4 pre-filter and HEPA – H14 filter.
Elements for connection to the exhaust system :
Removable exhaust hood for connecting the box to an active exhaust ventilation system, the hood is equipped with a compensation gap to exclude the influence of the exhaust ventilation system on the operation of the box
Elements of the control system :
- electroautomatic system – microprocessor;
boxing control panel – push-button with LCD display;
air flow parameters sensors;
individual fuse for the power supply line of the main functions of the box (fans, lighting, UV irradiation);
individual fuse for the socket block installed in the working chamber;
The power cable is non-removable.
