Description

Optical sensors ВБ3 are designed to register and count the number of any objects and have a longer range than other non-contact sensors. The sensors have a sensitivity regulator that allows you to adjust the actual contrast of the object against the background of surrounding objects.

Application of non-contact optical sensors
Optical sensors are widely used in automated control systems for registering the presence and quantity of objects, detecting stickers, marks and inscriptions on their surface, as well as for positioning and sorting objects.

With the help of optical sensors, it is possible to control the distance, dimensions, level, color and degree of transparency of objects, regardless of the material of its manufacture.

In addition to the industrial sector, sensors are successfully used in security systems and lighting control systems.

The advantage of optical sensors is a large detection distance, which can reach several meters, and the ability to adjust the sensitivity of the recording mechanism.

Functional diagram
The principle of operation of optical contactless sensors is based on a change in the light flux received by the sensor. Optical sensors consist of 2 functionally completed units – a source of optical radiation and a receiver of this radiation.

The source of optical radiation (emitter) and the receiver can be made in the same housing or in different housings.
